DESIGN TIPS

TIP #1
When designing your new wardrobe, it's always a good idea to keep drawers and banks of shelves away from back corners.  This makes them easier to access and creates more hanging space.

TIP #2
Most people will find that they have more short hanging clothes - eg. shirts and skirts - than long hanging clothes - eg. dresses.  So an extra hanging rail at half height can double your storage space.

TIP #3
Try to include a combination of long hanging, short hanging, shelves and drawers or baskets is the best way to make sure you have a place for all your clothes and accessories.

TIP #4
Clothes will generally fold into about 300mm squares.  Designs which use multiples of this will work better. - eg. 300, 600, 900 etc.

TIP #5
Clever use of various accessories will provide even more space.  At Rocky Robes, we provide slide-out tie, belt and trouser racks, angled shoe shelves, jewelry drawer dividers, multiple drop hangers or just about anything else you can think of.

Of course, if you need any assistance in designing the perfect storage solution for you, just talk to our professional wardrobe designers.  We can custom design to suit your needs or bring your own wardrobe dreams and see how we can help you.
